—The Wedding Experience—

So, you have your date, venue and, hopefully, your fiancé. The next logical step is to find your photographer. You need someone who is not only a visual story teller, but a good bouquet holder, dress bustler, wedding train carrier, veil fixer, drink goer-getter and snack fetcher. Remember that your team of wedding vendors are by your side for the whole day. Hiring your “dream team” of experienced wedding vendors will make your day run smoothly (and keep you well fed and hydrated). Luckily for you, I kick some serious ass in the wedding experience department! I even had to kidnap a bride once, but that’s a story for a different day…

Now, almost every couple tells me that they are super awkward in front of the camera. Let me help you get comfortable in front of my lens. What better way to work out the jitters than with an engagement session? Complementary engagement sessions are offered with most wedding packages. I get it, I’m super awkward in pictures too and trust me, there are some pretty cringe worthy pictures of me out there. Which is probably why I capture my clients the way that I would want to be photographed. You and your fiancé will follow a series of prompts during your shoot that will make you feel more like you’re playing a game of Charades or Twister than having your picture taken! Pictures don’t have to be stiff and posed, they can actually be a lot of fun!

Months before your wedding, we will start discussing all of the details of your wedding day. Timelines and family formal lists will be made. Yes, I dare say those dreads words. Family & formals. I know most couples don’t love this part of their wedding but it’s important to your family, so we’ll make sure that no aunt or uncle, no matter how infrequently you see them, makes the list if you so choose. What’s most important to you and your fiancé? Your formals? Dancing pictures? Your signature wedding cocktail? Your cousin that decides to break out her Electric Slide solo act during your reception? (We all have those family members. It’s just better to just embrace it!) We will discuss that too and make sure that whatever special dance, heirloom or piece of jewelry also makes the cut. There’s no better feeling than knowing that all the things have been preplanned.

Wedding packages start at $4400. There’s also an option to add an additional photographer for the best coverage, if needed. If big weddings aren’t your thing, elopement packages are available starting at $2500.

Let’s be real, you hire me because I’m an “artist”. (Trust me, I struggle with this label because it makes me feel like I should be wearing a beret while twisting my handlebar mustache.) Making something beautiful that you can proudly display in your home on your walls or an impressive coffee table album that you can cherish for years and years is my main goal. Your pictures should be prominently displayed in your home for you to see everyday. So let’s make that happen!
