Cornish Maine Wedding Photographer // Kim & Paul's Wedding 6.5.21 // Freedom, New Hampshire
Kim had no idea two weeks into quarantine that Paul was going to propose. As she sat on the couch watching Harry Potter, he came over with a “present” of a keyring to replace an old one that had broken. It took Kim a second to realize that the ring was replaced with an engagement ring. When she went to say something to Paul, he knelt down on one knee. Of course, she said yes.
Fast forward to 6/5/21, Kim & Paul got married at Camp Calumet in Freedom, New Hampshire. In pure New England fashion, they had every type of weather, but their wedding day was still perfect. Everyone was super relaxed getting ready in their “cabins” , which were more like luxury condos. Kim did her own make up and hung out with family. She did a first look with her dad which I always recommend. It always turns out to be one of my favorite parts of the day!
It did cloud up and start to drizzle a bit for the ceremony, but it was nothing that was going to stop Kim and Paul from having their wedding. The flower girl and ring bearer even made it down the aisle with little to no prompting (because we all know how hard that can be!). They had a beautiful short ceremony.
The sun even made an appearance for dinner. Their lakeside reception prompted many of the younger guests to get in the water, which is every photographers dream. It was so cute to watch the little ones get into the water in their suits. The parents may not of felt the same, but it was pretty awesome! The night concluded with a beautiful sunset.
