Cornish Maine Newborn Photographer // Annalise // Portland, Maine

Remember a few months ago, I did an amazing maternity session on Ferry Beach with 2 awesome people and their little pug, Lola? Well, their little girl arrived and is absolutely perfect! I already knew that I was going to design my sets and baby outfits after what Erica and Joe wore to their maternity pictures. That way they will look beautiful displayed on their walls!

Because I have a spending issue, I specially bought new warps and headbands for little Annalise for her session.

When I arrived to their session, Joe started to feed the baby. I was told that she was sleeping well and I expected her to do so for the session. Apparently, once this little one is out, she is out! And that’s exactly what happened. I wrapped her and put different headbands on her. She didn’t even flinch. She made it through 2 outfit changes before I had to re wrap her and still she slept! Next I wrapped her again and put her on my little newborn bed.

Then I really tested her ability to sleep through anything and unswaddled her and put her in a little pair of pants. Once again, she slept! She is amazing!

Annalise finally woke up when I rewrapped her for the family formals! We started with Annalise and her dad, then family pictures, including Lola the pug! Then, of course, last but not least, Annalise with her mom. She was awake for her family pictures, but with her sleeping so well for the other part, she did eventually have to wake up!

With the session done, I packed up my travel studio and left Erica, Joe and Annalise to have their home back! I loved watching this family grow from expecting couple to family of three!
