Cornish Maine Wedding Photographer // Erin & Nash // Foss Mountain, NH
As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of witnessing and capturing countless love stories. Each session brings its own unique charm, but some hold a special place in my heart, especially if they are at my favorite place to shoot. So, here I was on top of Foss Mountain with Erin and Nash for their engagement session.
Nature has a way of surprising us, and on that particular day, it gifted us with a crisp fall evening. Erin and Nash met me at Foss Mountain. We embarked on a quick hike up to the eagles nest, eager to capture them against the stunning backdrop of 360° mountain views.
As we reached the summit, we came to the opening in the woods and the perfect golden light appeared. Erin and Nash started the session just by casually interacting with one another I guided them through a series of prompts to help them relax and make their pictures appear more candid. Walking hand in hand, they laughed.
While setting up my lights to enhance the already amazing scene, we encountered a playful challenge from Mother Nature herself. The wind was relentless, gusting over my lights and threatening to disrupt our plans. Undeterred, we adapted and made the most of the natural light, capturing candid moments.
As the sun began set, the sky transformed into a canvas of pink cotton candy clouds. Against this dreamlike backdrop, Erin and Nash laughed and kissed for their pictures.
The engagement session on top of Foss Mountain was truly a breathtaking experience. Erin and Nash, surrounded by majestic mountains and bathed in golden hour light was absolutely perfect. Despite the wind's playful interference, we captured beautiful images that reflect their personalities.. It was a privilege to be part of their love story, and I am grateful for the opportunity to capture their beautiful memories on Foss Mountain.
