Cornish Maine Newborn & Maternity Photographer // Displaying Your Prints in Your Home

As a newborn photographer, I always strive to capture the special moments of a family's newest addition. But my job doesn't end there. I also want to make sure that my clients are displaying those precious memories in the best possible way which is why I offer professionally printed wall art and albums. At the Reveal Appointment, I walk my clients through what products I offer and how and where is the best way to display them.

When it comes to displaying your prints, size matters. You want to make sure that the print is large enough to be seen from a distance, but not so large that it overwhelms the room. Consider the space where you'll be hanging the print and choose a size that complements it.

A beautiful frame can elevate a print from simply a picture to a work of art. Choose a frame that matches your décor and complements the colors in the photo. A simple, classic frame is always a good choice.

When hanging your print, make sure it's at eye level. This will ensure that it's easily visible and will be enjoyed by everyone who enters the room.

Instead of just hanging one print, consider grouping several together. This can create a more impactful display and tell a story of your little one's growth and development. I, myself, have a few gallery walls in my house that showcase my boys from babies to the crazy tweens that they are today.

Don't let your prints gather dust in the same spot for too long. Consider rotating them periodically to keep things fresh and interesting.

By following these tips, you can ensure that your precious memories are displayed in the best possible way. As a newborn photographer, I love nothing more than seeing my clients' prints hanging proudly in their homes for all to see in the way that they were intended, as art.
