Cornish MAINE Wedding & Maternity Photographer // Fun Fact: I Don't Have Any Pictures From Before My Wedding
As a wedding photographer, I have seen many couples come to me to capture the most amazing moments in their lives. These moments are usually ones that they want to remember forever. Engagement, wedding, pregnancy, new baby, etc. you get the picture. However, I have no pictures from before my wedding day.
I had digital copies and USBs of all of my pictures, but I lost my iPhone and it wasn’t backed up and all of my old USB’s had failed. I was devastated that I had no pictures of her and her husband before they got married. That means all my time in Connecticut hanging out with friends. Gone. Meeting my husband. Pictures gone. Our move to Maine. All gone. I realized that time goes by way too fast to not have these moments captured.
Since then, I have made it a point to print everything and put them in albums to ensure that they are always easily accessible. I have invested in photo shoots for me and my family, including my own boudoir session. Last year, I spent $3500 between the photo shoots and the gallery-quality albums that I made from each session.
I am choosing to invest in myself and my family. It's important to capture these moments because they are fleeting. It's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day and forget the special moments that make life worth living. But when you have pictures to look back on, it helps you remember the good times.
As a photographer, I have seen firsthand how much these moments mean to my clients. Whether it's a boudoir session, a wedding, or just capturing everyday moments, it's important to have pictures to look back on. I encourage everyone to invest in themselves and their families by capturing these moments. You won't regret it.
