As a wedding photographer, it's always a thrill to capture the love and excitement of couples embarking on their journey together. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to shoot Kendall and Rick’s Kettle Cove engagement session that turned out to be a true gem. With a stroke of luck, we picked one of the few sunny days this month, setting the stage for a memorable experience.
We began our adventure on the rugged shores of the beach, the crashing waves creating a picturesque backdrop. Kendall & Rick radiated happiness as they posed and walked hand in hand, their love evident in every frame. The natural beauty of the surroundings added a touch of rawness and authenticity to their story.
Moving along the beach, we discovered a charming wooden walkway that added a touch of rustic charm to the session. Seizing the opportunity, I had Rick & Kendall sit down and pop open a bottle of champagne. The laughter that ensued as they enjoyed a few sips together was contagious and heartwarming. These candid moments beautifully captured their genuine connection and the joy they find in each other's company.
As the sun started to set, casting its golden glow across the horizon, we made our way to the point. The sky began to take on a mesmerizing purple hue, creating a dreamy atmosphere. Against this enchanting backdrop, I posed Kendall & Rick, allowing their love to shine amidst the changing colors. The scene was nothing short of magical, and every click of the camera felt like capturing a fleeting moment of bliss.
As darkness fell, I used off-camera flash techniques to make the vibrant hues of the sky truly pop.
