Cornish Maine Wedding Photographer // Aubrey & Noel 7.3.21 // A Barn, Wedding Venue
Aubrey was among the few brides that contacted me before she was engaged or even had her venue picked out! She knew that Noel was going to propose soon, but was unsure of exactly when. Shortly after our first discussion, Noel proposed on a beautiful day while walking Popham Beach with Aubrey, which is where their first date took place.
I absolutely loved their wedding vision from the very first time we spoke. The vibe was very classic, but rustic. These two were so laid back on their wedding day. Noel even went fly fishing while the girls got ready. The couple shared their first look in the beautiful garden of A Barn. We wrapped up their pictures and the family’s pictures just as it started to drizzle. Rain has pretty much been the story of the 2021 wedding season for me!
The ceremony was short and sweet. Followed by some dances and then dinner at the food truck. Luckily the rain held off for almost all of the outside festivities. As soon as dinner was done, almost every single guest was on the dance floor. These guys had one of the craziest receptions of my wedding season! It was awesome!
During the party, I asked Noel and Aubrey to come outside in the rain for one last picture. I handed Aubrey an umbrella and posed them. It maybe took all of 5 minutes, but this produced one of my favorite pictures that I’ve taken so far this season. It’s far from a traditional portrait, but I’m far from a traditional person. I kinda like that artsy crap. It was a perfect way to wrap up their wedding!
