Cornish Maine Maternity Photographer // Magda & Tommy // Kettle Cove

As a maternity photographer, every session is a unique opportunity to create lasting memories and amazing art for expecting parents. Magda and Tommy's maternity session was one such experience that unfolded in the most unexpected and beautiful way. Despite an initial setback due to rain, our rescheduled session at Kettle Cove turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Kettle Cove, a picturesque location, became the backdrop for Magda and Tommy's maternity session. Its diverse scenery offers a little bit of everything, from a lush field to a wooden boardwalk and a breathtaking rocky coastline. This is very much one of my favorite locations to shoot at.

We began our session on the beach during the golden hour, when the light is perfectly warm with that golden hue. Magda and Tommy, accompanied by their dog, leisurely strolled on the beach as we took pictures.

Moving on from the beach, we ventured into a vibrant field of tall grass. Here, the focus shifted to Magda alone. We took multiple different shots showcasing her bump, since that was we were al there to begin with!

Continuing our journey throughout the park, we made our way to the wooden boardwalk. As Magda and Tommy walked hand in hand, I seized the opportunity to capture candid moments of connection. The boardwalk's rustic charm served as a perfect complement to their images.

Our final destination was the rocky coastline. Against this dramatic backdrop, I captured Magda and Tommy walking along the shoreline on the rocks. They walked hand in hand as we watched the sun go down past the horizon. the sky had already begun as a cotton candy pink color and now had turned a vibrant reddish pink.

Magda and Tommy's maternity session at Kettle Cove was an absolute picture perfect evening. From the golden hour on the beach to the grassy field, the boardwalk, and the rocky coastline, each location provided a unique backdrop for their story. As a maternity photographer, it was a privilege to capture their incredible journey.
