Cornish, Maine Wedding Photographer // My Favorite Engagement Pictures From 2022 // Engagement Phot Shoot

It’s pretty obvious, that I love weddings and working with my couples. This blog, just like my wedding post, was so hard to pick such a limited number of pictures. We’ll see how this goes and I’ll probably do a sequel to this one!

First up, is Brttnee and Nolan. These guys were just so much fun. They decided on Fort Williams for their Engagement Session. This is one of my favorite places to shoot. There is so much variety with the beach, brick buildings, gardens and trees. The day was cloudy, so we took advantage and were able to shoot anywhere in the park without worrying about harsh sunlight. We started at one of the buildings and gardens, but one of my favorites from the session was just a simple “leading lines” composition in front of a brick building. It wasn’t the composition that made it awesome. It was the emotion. I had Nolan whisper something funny into Britnee’s ear and she laughed. But it was her laugh that makes me love this picture. It was so genuine. And, she has a very infectious laugh! Their love is just so easy. Then the sun came out and we took full advantage of it for a few shots. I loved these as well. Nothing is better than gorgeous lighting!

Next up is Pierre and Michelle. Literally, it was the next morning after Britnee and Nolan’s session. We met for a sunrise session at Fort Williams Park again. It was cold and when I say cold it was -16 degrees. Poor Michelle and Pierre had come up from Texas and most definitely were not used to this weather! We had pretty much finished up the session and Michelle had asked to go to the lighthouse. Typically I don’t go there with sessions because there are so many people there and it was hard to take a picture with tourists hanging around. But, on this morning, it was only around 6:00am, there was only 1 or 2 other people in the park. I had never been there so early and did not realize that the light was perfect at that hour. I was so happy that Michelle had mentioned it! Look at these pictures. They are perfect!

Wolfe’s Neck State Park is so beautiful regardless of what time of year it is. Here is another winter Engagement Session. I love winter Engagement Sessions when the couple has a summer wedding. Paige and TJ were excited to get their engagement pictures done and I was super stoked to meet them! We walked around the park with little distractions. Once again, shooting in the winter means less tourists!

I most certainly will have to do a follow up to this blog because I have sooooo many more Engagement Sessions from 2022 that I can’t wait to share again!
