Every love story is unique, and as a wedding photographer, it is both an honor and a privilege to capture the magical moments that unfold on such a special day. Maggie and Matty's wedding at Brick South Portland was amazing. There’s no other way t describe it!

The day began at The Westin Hotel, where Maggie arrived with hair and makeup perfected. With the bride and her girls all ready, I started by capturing all the little details of the day, like the invitations, rings, shoes and special jewelry. The bridesmaids gathered around, adding their support as they helped Maggie slip into her wedding dress. Her mother zipped her up, and the room was filled with anticipation.

Before leaving for Fort Williams, Maggie and Matty did a short, but sweet first look in the lobby of the hotel. All the groomsmen and bridesmaids peeked around the corner as they had their moment. Next, the family embarked on a trolley ride to Fort Williams, braving the hot sun to capture their family formals. Against the backdrop of the lighthouse, Maggie and Matty we took pictures of the couple’s closest friends and family.

Arriving at Brick South, we were greeted by the enchanting sound of the piano, signaling the start of the ceremony. The guests had already began to arrive. Maggie's aunt, serving as the officiant, shared a heartfelt story of the couple's journey. The ceremony was an extraordinary blend of love, laughter, and the promise of forever, culminating in a tender kiss that sealed their vows.

As the sun began to set, We stepped out to do a few sunset pictures to capture the perfect light as the sun went down over the ocean. The celebration continued with a series of heartwarming dances. As the evening progressed, toasts were given by parents and siblings, serving as a beautiful reminder of the importance of family in Maggie and Matty's lives. The room was filled with laughter, tears, and an overwhelming sense of connection.

With the formalities complete, the dance floor opened, and the guests all took part. The night was adorned with love and laughter.
