Maine & NH Wedding Photographer // More of My Top 2024 Weddings
As a wedding photographer, I’m lucky to witness and capture so many beautiful love stories. Each wedding has its own energy and personality. Two of my absolute favorites this season were Casey and Jeff’s at Caswell Farm and Erin and Nash’s at Dragonwood. These weddings were wildly different but equally unforgettable.
Casey & Jeff
There’s something special about being back at Caswell Farm. It’s one of those venues that feels timeless. The rustic barn, lush gardens, serene ceremony site, and charming farmhouse create the perfect setting for a wedding. When I found out Casey and Jeff would be getting married there, I was happy to be back.
Their wedding day was a testament to their love and the incredible support system they’ve built around them. It began with a flurry of activity: the bridesmaids busily assembling table games for the guests and the groomsmen setting up the reception area. You could feel the camaraderie and shared joy. The sense of community wasn’t just a theme; it was the foundation of their celebration.
The ceremony was everything you’d hope for—intimate, heartfelt, and brimming with love. Then came the reception, where dancing took center stage. Watching Casey and Jeff together, you could see how deeply they support and uplift each other. Their love radiates in a way that draws everyone in. It was the perfect celebration for such a special couple.
Erin & Nash
Then there was Erin and Nash’s wedding at Dragonwood—a venue that feels like stepping into a magical woodland escape. Dragonwood has those summer camp vibes that take you back to simpler, happier times, and it served as the ideal backdrop for their unique day.
Erin’s dress reveal was one of the most memorable moments I’ve ever photographed. She had initially chosen a gown with her family, but as her wedding day approached, she realized it just wasn’t her. Quietly, she found *her* dress—a gown that felt authentic to her spirit. When she revealed it, everyone was stunned. It was such a beautiful, bold choice, and it set the tone for a day full of personal touches.
Their first look was another highlight. Nash, being the guy he is, stumbled upon a toad right before seeing Erin. Of course, he had to show it to her—it was such a sweet, quirky moment that felt so *them.*
Every part of their wedding was done their way, from the ceremony to the celebrations. Erin and Nash threw out the rulebook and created a day that celebrated their individuality and shared love.
From the close-knit community of Casey and Jeff’s day to the free-spirited authenticity of Erin and Nash’s, these two weddings reminded me why I love what I do. It’s about more than just photographs—it’s about telling stories, capturing emotions, and preserving moments that couples will cherish for a lifetime.
