There’s something truly beautiful about Castle in the Clouds. Nestled in the rolling hills of New Hampshire, it’s the perfect blend of natural beauty and timeless charm. When Simi and Joe chose this spot for their engagement session, I knew it was going to be amazing. With its expansive gardens, winding hiking trails, and stunning views, it was the ideal backdrop for their pictures.

We met at the base of the property, the sun already hinting at the golden hour to come. We started their session by exploring the trails. They walked hand in hand, laughing and chatting, as I hung back, capturing those candid moments. The trails were lined with goldenrod, painting the landscape in hues of gold and green. As the sun dipped lower, it wrapped everything in that perfect warm, golden hue.

Next it was on to the pond. I had them sit together, no forced poses, just their natural interaction.

As we wandered further, we found ourselves near a small, historic cemetery. The old headstones, weathered with age, added a unique touch to the session.

Our final stop was the vast lawn, with a view that seemed to stretch endlessly. By now, the golden hour was in full swing. They walked and danced for the last few candid captures.

The session ended on a high note, with smiles, laughter. Simi and Joe were such a fun couple to work with, and I can already tell their wedding next year is going to be pretty amazing.
