Maine & NH Wedding Photographer // Three Weddings, Two Magazines
Let’s talk about something pretty damn cool—three of my weddings got published in not one but TWO different wedding magazines this year. If you had told me at the beginning of the season that I’d see my work in glossy print, I probably would have spit out my coffee (which, let’s be honest, would have been a crime against caffeine). But here we are! And I couldn’t be more excited to share these with you.
First-Time Submissions and a Big Surprise
This was actually my first time ever submitting to magazines. To be honest, I didn’t think I had a shot. Most magazines love featuring styled shoots—aka staged weddings with models and perfectly curated details designed specifically for publication. Meanwhile, I’m out here capturing real love, real weddings, and real moments. I figured my work didn’t fit the mold of what usually makes it to print. But guess what? I’m eating my words. It turns out that authenticity still has a place in the wedding world, and seeing my couples’ stories featured proved just that.
Lights, Camera, Love! – Korrie & Matt’s Vintage Movie Theater Wedding
First up, we’ve got Korrie and Matt, whose wedding was straight out of an old Hollywood dream. They tied the knot at The Strand in Dover, NH, a vintage movie theater that set the stage—literally—for one of the most unique weddings I’ve ever shot. Imagine the glow of marquee lights, the nostalgia of classic films, and a couple who absolutely nailed the vintage glam aesthetic. Their wedding was published in New Hampshire Weddings, and flipping through those pages to see their day in print? Unreal.
Caswell Farm Perfection – Casey & Jeff’s Thoughtful Celebration
Next, Casey and Jeff’s wedding at Caswell Farm got picked up by Real Maine Weddings, and honestly, it’s no surprise. These two planned every single detail with so much love and intention, from the handmade table games to the groomsmen setting up the reception area like absolute champs. Caswell Farm is already one of my favorite venues, but getting to see this wedding honored in a magazine just confirmed how special it really was. Their day was all about community, connection, and some seriously good dance moves.
Love, Family, and the Maine Coast – Danika & Rudy in Harpswell
And then there’s Danika and Rudy—my final featured couple—whose intimate Harpswell wedding was all about love and family. No frills, no over-the-top production, just raw emotion and the people who matter most. Their ceremony by the water was simple, stunning, and so full of meaning. When Real Maine Weddings chose to feature their wedding, I wasn’t surprised. It was everything a wedding should be: authentic, emotional, and deeply personal.
Seeing My Work in Print—What It Means
Having my work published is more than just a cool milestone (though, let’s be real, it’s pretty damn cool). It’s a reminder of why I do what I do. Every wedding I shoot is about storytelling—capturing real moments, real emotions, and real love. Seeing these weddings in print means that their stories get to live on, inspiring other couples who are planning their own unforgettable days.
So, here’s to the couples who let me document their stories, and to more epic weddings in the future. Let’s keep making art, capturing love, and maybe—just maybe—getting featured in a few more pages next year.
