Cornish Maine Newborn Photographer // What To Expect At Your Reveal Appointment

Now that the photo shoot is done, it’s time to see your pictures for the first time at your Ordering Appointment! These days, I’m doing this appointment via Zoom, but in the past I’ve had clients either come to me or I go to them. What you see in the picture above is a “reveal wall” that I did for a client’s newborn pictures. I really love to show people what their pictures will look like printed. I think that they look so much better!! After all, you don’t hire me if you want your pictures to live on a computer somewhere never to be viewed again!

First of all, we review all the pictures from your photo session. Then we "favorite” all the keepers. This can be very difficult to do, but I will walk you through the whole process and help to eliminate the ones that are similar to others or just would not fit what type of product that you are looking for!

Once we have narrowed it down, we talk about what products you want. We start talking about wall space that you are looking to dress and the sizes that would most appropriatly fill that space. What do you need for coffee table books or albums? Do you want to send a Grandparent Book for a special occasion? Does your desk need an acrylic book? Do you prefer the clean look of folios instead? These are all things that we discuss to make sure you get everything that you need!

I offer 2 different sets of pricing. The first is A La Carte pricing, where you can buy individual, specific custom pieces. Or you can save some money and use my Create A Collection pricing. This is where you have 3 steps to go through. The steps include wall art, digitals and albums. You simply pick one or more items from each category to make your own package! I find that most people do the Create A Collection pricing because they had intended on buying all of these thing from the start and they save money doing it this way!

Once the selection process is complete, you pay for your product and I send it to the lab to be processed. A few weeks later, your custom artwork arrives and, in most cases, I deliver them right to your door! It’s always exciting to see what the pictures look like once they have been printed! I love to see the looks on my client’s faces when they see their artwork for the first time! It is one of the things that makes me so happy about what I do!
