Baby Asher // Cornish Maine Newborn Photographer // Newborn Baby Photoshoot

I have had so many newborn girls lately, that I was so looking forward to Asher’s session! Well that and he is stinking adorable! Asher was 4 weeks old at the time of his photoshoot. When babies are a little older they go 1 of 2 ways. Either they are awake the whole time and looking at me like, “what the hell are you doing?” or they sleep like a dream. Luckily, for both of us, Asher slept like a dream.

Being a bit older than most newborns, Asher was also a bit bigger. He had to squeeze into some of his outfits. Luckily, everything is super stretchy and we were able to make it work! He was a champ throughout the entire session. He had many outfit changes and slept so well!

For the second part of the session, Asher’s mom jumped in for some lifestyle portraits. Her home had some of the most beautiful natural light. We used her living room for most of the pictures, but ended in Asher’s nursery. We put him in the crib for a few, but he didn’t like being left all by himself in there, so mom got in some more baby snuggles for the rest of the pictures!
