As a newborn photographer, I am privileged to witness some of life's most precious moments. Each shoot is a unique story of the families I get to work with.

Having previously photographed their wedding and the arrival of their first baby, Maeve, I was thrilled to be invited once again to capture Macallan’s pictures. It was great this family again.

The first thing that struck me about Macallan was his incredible head of hair. It was incredible to say the least! As I I got him wrapped and prepped for the first set, he slept soundly, blissfully. I got him positioned in the basket and got my lighting just right. We transitioned easily from set to set because Macallan was a great sleeper.I made it through everything that I had planned and started to get ready for Maeve to join in.

Reuniting with Maeve was awesome. Together, they posed on the couch. Maeve held her baby brother and made sure that he stayed safe.

As the shoot drew to a close, we gathered the whole family for some portraits. I was so happy that everyone was able to make the shoot, so we can update some of their older family photos.

I packed up my camera and bid farewell to the family. Watching my clients' families grow is one of the greatest joys of my job. Each shoot is not just about capturing images; it's about preserving memories and celebrating the beauty of life's journey.

In the end, it's not just about the photographs; it's about the stories they tell and the emotions they evoke. And for me, there's nothing more rewarding than being a part of those stories.
